The Parks, Recreation and Special Events Committee meets the third Thursday of each month to discuss and make recommendations to the MHCSD Board of Directors.
Meetings are Brown Act Meetings and are noticed and agendized. The public is encouraged to attend and participate.

Meetings start at 7pm. 
Meetings are held in the Michael Forbes McGrew Board Room located at 230 S. Sterling Drive, Suite 101, Mountain House, CA 95391.

This committee is charged with addressing the following board objectives:

* Review Current Special Events

* Review Current Recreation Programs

* Establish volunteer base for Special Events

* Meet with Existing Special Events Consultants or Contractors

* Review & Recommend changes current MHCSD fee schedule

* Review & Recommend amendments current MHCSD Parks Ordinance

* Review & Recommend changes current MHCSD reservation procedures

* Recommend changes/additions/subtractions to current recreation programs

* Recommend changes/additions/subtractions from current special events program

* Develop a list of partners and organizations that might like to participate in our events and program
