Mountain House was designed to
offer numerous parks and recreational opportunities for residents.
Each Mountain House neighborhood features its own five-acre
Village Park. Some Villages have additional small
neighborhood parks with additional play space for
families.
Each Village Park has a ball field, picnic areas, and a place for children to play. Playgrounds and designated tot lots offer children a fun, safe place to play. Picnic areas provide opportunities for families and friends to meet and have some outdoor fun. Creek Park offers hiking trails. Central Park offers a Ball Field, Basketball Court, Bocce Courts, Tennis Courts, a fun play water fountain, and lots of play areas for the children. And as Mountain House grows, so will the park system!
The current hierarchal order for non-profit youth leagues to reserve fields for league use is as follows:

Located on Ventura between Saint
Francis and Piedmont.
Altamont Park features beautiful Palm trees
near the play area. There are also picnic areas with BBQ pits and a
softball field.

Located on Legacy between Communidad and Escuela. Bethany Park has a beautiful dry creek running through the park around a mini hill. The park includes picnic areas, play areas, a basketball court and a large field which can be used for soccer or other activities. Reserve Bethany Park
25 E Main St. Located along the east side Central Parkway between Main and De Anza. Central Community Park is in its first out of three phases and is the only Community Park at this time. The park features an interactive fountain surrounded by palm trees which provide great shade. There are play areas for toddlers and young children up to the age of 12, picnic areas with BBQ pits, a bocci ball court, basket ball court, tennis courts, a softball field and plenty of space for a soccer field or two. Central Community Park is the perfect place for a gathering whether large or small event and even if you just want to take a nice stroll. It is also the location of many community events! Located between Escuela and Las Brisas. Creek Park houses an array of native flora and fauna to the local area. There are wide paths perfect for running, biking or stolling. Along the paths are informational boards showcasing the wildlife and various educational information. There are also picnic areas and plenty of benches to soak in the views.

Located on Questa Trail between
Esplanade and Montebello.
Questa Park is a great park that can
accommodate a larger party under its structured trellis . There are
also BBQ pits, play areas, a basket ball court, bocci ball court
and large field perfect for soccer.

Located on Historic between Legacy and Heritage. Wicklund Park is the first neighborhood park and features the community’s only Pavilion. There are picnic areas with BBQ pits, play areas and a softball field. Reserve Wicklund Park
